EXPLORE OUR JULY FEATURED WHISKY
This rare and exclusive limited whisky release, The Murray, Marsala Cask finish, 2006 vintage Highland single malt Scotch Whisky, has been matured in first fill bourbon barrels and then transferred and finished following extra maturation in sweet Sicilian Marsala wine casks for its final 365 days of maturation.
It’s the fourth whisky to join the Marquess Collection, having followed the Murray 2004, 2005 and the Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The result is a rose-tinged appearance with oaky and spicy aromas on the nose. When tasted, the whisky is reminiscent of plump summer fruits, malted biscuits and chewy strawberry candy. Creamy orange lingers on the finish.
Bottled at 46% ABV, The Murray Marsala Cask Finish single malt whisky was produced with a limited number and released in December of 2018 in the UK, and now here in Australia this July. Get it here first with Explore Whisky Club.
It’s selling out fast, so get it here for the month of July whilst you can.
